That was enlightening. The first thing I did after reading your project was search myself on the internet. Thankfully, my facebook did not come up at all let alone with lots of private information.<br \/>\n<br \/>\nI agree entirely with your Objective of raising awareness among users to not provide private information in the first place. My only comment is that in your communication strategy you plan on bringing an awareness to the privacy that facebook does not give you, but you don't talk about bringing an awareness to the privacy settings that FB does provide. I personally, am on facebook and have my settings so that no one can add me because they can't even search for my name. I can add people only. And i made it so only friends can look at any of my information, so I know specifically who sees my profile. There are some good privacy settings that you can choose from, maybe you should incorporate how people can learn to protect themselves better through the privacy settings that are available, instead of just looking at what FB does not provide. I agree with you concept, it is very upsetting how easily your personal information can be access when you &quot;think&quot; it's private.  The petition is a great idea because everyday I see people joining new groups supporting different ideas; once one person joins one then all their friends will follow.  The only thing I would consider revising is the target audience.  Facebook is used by everyone, but different age groups may use it for different reasons (social or business).  So, when you reach out to them you should consider different tactics for different age groups or else they may not be as interested in what you want to say.
